The Cayman Islands have a tropical climate, as do other equatorial
nations. Seasons are essentially non-existent on this island, as they are on most others. The
number of hours of sunshine varies slightly, and the temperature changes between summer and
winter are minimal. The weather is hot and humid all year, with the northeast trade winds
bringing a dry, somewhat chilly season.
