General weather Overview
The climate in Laos is tropical. Seasons don’t seem to make much of
a difference. The change in daylight hours is small, and so are the temperature fluctuations between
summer and winter. The average daily temperature varies from hot to scorching depending on the
season. The temperature drops to a pleasant and more acceptable level during the colder months,
depending on the area. The scorching months are unpleasant in the south, but they’re ideal for
visiting the colder northern area

- Beerlao is the award-winning national beer of Laos, made from locally grown jasmine rice, imported malt from France or Belgium, imported yeast, and hops from Germany. Beerlao won the Russian Osiris Beer Festival in June 2005, beating 40 other brews to take the silver prize. They also won the Monde Selection gold quality awards in the years 2006 and 2010
- Coffee is Lao's largest agricultural export. Latte macchiato, espresso, cappuccino - the Arabica coffee bean is the leading product in Laos and the country's largest agricultural export. The coffee crop is growing and spreading across the country every year, and high-quality beans are in high demand in the overseas market
- The lush jungles of Laos are home to an amazing abundance of wildlife and the country is the breeding ground for king cobras, white-cheeked gibbons, tigers, and Asiatic black bears. Other wildlife includes the sambar deer and the sun bear. , leopards and leopard cats. Night safaris in the biodiverse Nam EtPhou Louey National Biodiversity Conservation Area offer visitors the chance to see some of the elusive nocturnal animals
