EGYPT WEATHER

General weather Overview

Egypt has a subtropical climate. As a result, it is usually dry and warm. The intensity of rain is slightly higher only during a few humid months every year. The climate in different parts of the country can vary substantially. Summer is best avoided in the Capital, as the heat is oppressive, and dust adds to the mix. On the other hand, this is the greatest time of year to visit the Red Sea beaches and shoreline. Winter might be frigid in certain areas, but in the southern part of the country, the climate is wonderful and one can feel the pleasant Mediterranean breeze.
