General weather Overview
Spans the equator, whose climate is tempered by altitude. Uganda
has little temperature variation throughout the year, similar to other equatorial countries. Uganda
generally has a tropical climate. The country experiences two main seasons, one wet and one dry,
although the temperature is mostly hot throughout the year. Daylight hours vary little throughout
different seasons.

- Murchison Falls National Park. Of all the national parks in Uganda, this is one you wouldn't want to miss; the famous Nile flows through it. If you hike to the top of Murchison Falls you can see where the Nile plunges through the Albertine Gorge flowing towards Egypt
- The Equator Crosses Uganda. The Earth's equator is an imaginary line separating the northern and southern hemispheres. There are only very few countries that the equator crosses, including Ecuador and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Maldives, and some others, including Uganda
