Nepal’s climate is primarily subtropical; however, it varies
depending on mountain altitude. As a result, the weather is largely dry and warm. The intensity
of rain is only somewhat higher during a few humid months per year. The average daily
temperature varies from mildly warm to quite hot depending on the season. On average, the
nation has five distinct seasons. The Himalayas block the cold air throughout the winter, making
it very warm south of the Himalayas.
