General weather Overview
Oman has a tropical climate, similar to that of other equatorial
countries. There isn’t much of a distinction between the seasons. The difference in daylight hours
is nearly imperceptible, as are the temperature differences between summer and winter.
Depending on the month, typical daytime temperatures range from hot to scorching, while in the
winter months, temperatures may decrease to moderate and pleasant, depending on the location

- Oman has one of the oldest markets in the world: the Mutrah Souq. This market has many colorful little shops where you can buy bakhoor (incense), aromatic perfumes, silver khanjars, jewelry, and many other exotic items
- Thousands of migrating turtles head to the coast of Oman every year. If you are interested in watching turtle births, Ras Al Jinz is one of the top spots for turtle watching. to see different species of turtles including the green turtle, loggerhead turtle, and leatherback turtle
- Omani architecture is amazing in design and structure. Some good examples are the Omani forts, castles, buildings, palaces, and even houses. Almost every Omani home has a uniquely decorated or ornamented door. There are many opportunities to enjoy Oman's mind-blowing architecture
