General weather Overview
The United Arab Emirates has a subtropical desert climate. As a
result, it’s usually warm and dry almost throughout the year. Rain intensity might be a little heavier
just during a few humid months of the year. The average daily temperature varies depending on the
season, ranging from comfortable to unbearable. Summers are quite hot and sunny, with the
humidity of the Persian Gulf making the heat intolerable. Winters are generally moderate. The
temperature drops to very slightly colder degrees in the winter months, depending on the region,
and is sometimes only cold enough for a lightweight jumper.
