Denmark has a temperate oceanic climate. A temperate climate
zone determines the weather in Denmark. In the northern hemisphere, days in the summer
months are not only warmer but also longer. Summers are generally cool and winters are never
extremely cold. During the summer months, the eastern part of Denmark is colder than the west
and summers are generally warmer on the eastern side.
